CHARLOTTE, NC — Two popular breakfast foods become one in General Mills’ limited-time collaboration with Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.
Inspired by the cinnamon sugar combination found in Cinnamon Toast Crunch, the new Cinnamon Milk Glazed collection comes complete with pieces of the cereal as a topping. There are three donut varieties: Cinnamon Milk Glazed, Cinnamon Milk Glazed with Cream Cheese and Cinnamon Milk Glazed with Dulce de Leche.
“Partnering again with Cinnamon Toast Crunch is great and we know there’s a lot of desire for cereal milk inspired treats,” said Dave Skena, chief marketing officer at Krispy Kreme.
The two companies teamed up in 2021 with the launch of the donut company’s cinnamon rolls, one of which was topped with Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
The Cinnamon Milk Glazed Doughnut takes Krispy Kreme’s Original Glazed donut and combines it with the cereal milk-inspired flavor profile. Cinnamon Milk Glazed with Cream Cheese adds cream cheese icing and cereal pieces to the top of the breakfast good, topped with cinnamon sugar. For a caramel twist, the Cinnamon Milk Glazed with Dulce de Leche swaps the cream cheese icing for dulce de leche icing and is also topped with cereal and cinnamon sugar.
The donuts are available individually or by the box. Consumers that order a Cinnamon Milk Lover’s Dozen at their local Krispy Kreme shop can receive all three flavor varieties in a limited-edition donut box that mimics the Cinnamon Toast Crunch box.
This variety is available from April 15 to May 5 in the US and Canada. US Consumers can find a participating location near them at Krispy Kreme’s website.
