EVERETT, WA — Formost Fuji, a leading packaging equipment manufacturer, celebrated its 60th anniversary in tandem with the opening of its new facility.
The expansive Everett, WA, location not only provides ample space for operations but also allows for future expansion, with the potential to double the manufacturing area. Formost transitioned to its new location in August 2023 after purchasing the building in January 2023. Since, the company has added enhancements such as a mezzanine level, multipurpose room, showroom and training center.
To celebrate the occasion, Formost Fuji hosted an open house on June 19, featuring a ceremonial ribbon cutting, tours of the new facility and a lunch reception to welcome industry partners, customers, employees and vendors.
“I’d like to thank the number of customers that we have here, and there’s quite a few — not only local customers but customers from all over the country and Canada,” said Dennis Gunnell, president of Formost Fuji. “Without your support, we certainly wouldn’t be able to be here, so thank you for coming and thank you for being part of our history.”
Yuki Ikuta, president of Fuji Machinery, Formost Fuji’s parent company, highlighted Formost’s evolution and future growth.
“We have increased production capacity at three strongest areas in the world,” Ikuta said. “We cannot keep this new facility by ourselves. We need customer support and backup from employees to family. We are very much looking forward to hearing good feedback from customers and suppliers.”
