BOSTON — Crispy cookie producer Fancypants launched its first-ever seasonal flavor, Pumpkin Chocolate Chip. The new product is made with organic pumpkin puree, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, clove and Belgian-style dark chocolate chips.
After conducting market research on the popularity of pumpkin cookies, Fancypants decided to combine the classic fall flavor with its current bestselling flavor, Chocolate Chip.
“We are thrilled to launch our first seasonal flavor, combining my love of pumpkin with our best-selling flavor,” said Maura Duggan, founder and CEO of Fancypants. “Knowing the popularity of pumpkin-flavored baked goods during the fall, we wanted to stand out by being one of the only brands to use organic pumpkin puree and a blend of fall spices. We are confident that Pumpkin Chocolate Chip will be a successful start to our seasonal flavor releases.”
The new offering is available for a limited time and will be sold online in 3- and 6-count packs for $19.99 and $34.99, respectively.
The cookie brand, which is non-GMO verified, kosher-dairy certified, and nut allergy-friendly, also recently released its first gluten-free Chocolate Chip flavor.
