SMYRNA, GA — Crown Bakeries, one of the leading manufacturers of fresh and frozen croissants, buns, bagels, biscuits, sweet goods and other dough products, cut the ribbon to mark the completion of renovations at its Smyrna, GA manufacturing location last week.

The almost 200,000-sq.-ft. facility underwent extensive renovations that expanded its manufacturing floorspace and tripled the company’s research and development center with an addition of a state-of-the-art innovation lab. Renovations also included employee welfare, offices and café facilities.

Stellar Construction served as the general contractor for this project, supported by Box Studios for architectural and interior design and RLE Partners for project management.

This investment and expansion of the Smyrna facility indicates the success from the transformational growth of Crown Bakeries over the past three years. Acquired by Crown Bakeries in May 2020, this manufacturing facility is one of the nine in the broader Crown network.
