AMSTERDAM — The supervisory board for Corbion announced its nomination to re-appoint Olivier Rigaud as CEO. Rigaud was also re-appointed to serve a second term of office as chair of the board of management.

“Olivier has been instrumental in the further development of Corbion into a leading innovative, sustainable solutions company, by designing and successfully executing the Advance 2025 growth strategy and strengthening Corbion’s commitment to the Preserve What Matters purpose,” said Mathieu Vrijsen, chair of the supervisory board.

Rigaud was initially appointed to his first four-year term back in 2019, which runs from August 2019 to May 2023. His new four-year term will extend from May 2023 to May 2027. In addition to these roles, he is also a member of the executive committee.

“With his re-appointment we establish continuity in leadership to further drive the Advance 2025 strategy and execute on our strategic investment programs to enhance value creation for our shareholders and our other stakeholders,” Vrijsen said.

Prior to his time at Corbion, Rigaud was CEO of Naturex, a global natural specialty ingredients company, and worked for Tate & Lyle, another specialty ingredients company, for 14 years.
