TORONTO — Following its recent acquisition by Graham Partners, Commercial Bakeries Corp. announced the appointment of Shawn Warren as CEO.
In his new role, he will focus on accelerating growth, while driving innovation and value for Commercial Bakeries’ customers.
The industry executive has 30 years of packaged food products experience, spanning cookies, crackers, snacks and confectionery. Warren spent most of his career with Kraft Foods, subsequently Mondelez International, in roles such as president and chairman of Mondelez China and senior VP, strategy and biscuits for the Asia-Pacific region.
Most recently, Warren returned to Canada to serve as president and CEO of GreenSpace Brands.
VPs Phil Fusco, Anthony Fusco Jr. and Joe Fusco will remain involved with Commercial Bakeries over the next year to support the transition. The Fusco family has played a pivotal role in Commercial Bakeries’ growth over the past 30 years.
