RICHMOND, VA – AMF Bakery Systems, a leading supplier for best-in-class bakery equipment and complete system solutions, announced its hiring of Shari Litow as director of customer care for the US and Latin America.
She will lead AMF’s aftermarket teams in the two regions to deliver on AMF’s mission to create lasting connection with its customers. In this role, she will report to David Burke, VP for the US and Latin America.
“Shari joins AMF with a wealth of experience that she will leverage to improve the value and level of support we provide our customers in the Americas, while seeking new ways to deliver customer care solutions,” Burke said.
Litow earned her master’s in business administration from Evanston, IL-based Northwestern University. She has worked for top global manufacturing companies including those in the agriculture and food ingredient world.
She spent 12 years in leadership at Dupont in sales, marketing strategy and business development, as well as started a new textile business for Honeywell. Her most recent role was director of market operations for Ohly Americas, a yeast extract and culinary powder solutions provider in Boyceville, WI, where she headed the Americas leadership team including operations, finance, supply chain and human resources.
In addition to her vast professional experience, she is also a master blackbelt.
