WEST NYACK, NY — Abe’s Vegan Muffins released a limited-edition fall-inspired flavor of its Mini Muffins: Apple Cider Donut.
“We wanted more people to be able to enjoy cider donuts,” said Alessandra Altieri-Lopez, executive pastry chef at Abe’s Vegan Muffins. “We worked tirelessly on a recipe that would replicate biting into a seasonal donut – without any egg or dairy. We are really proud of this new flavor.”
The Apple Cider Donut Mini Muffins feature a moist cinnamon cake baked with real apple cider and topped with cinnamon sugar. Similar to the rest of Abe’s product line, the muffins are vegan and dairy-free and omit egg, nut, soy and sesame.
Consumers can find the fall-inspired muffins in packs of 12 in natural markets nationwide, including Whole Foods (Northeast region), Pavilions, HEB and more.
