ALEXANDRIA, VA— The American Bakers Association (ABA) released an exclusive study, 2022 Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion in the US Commercial Baking Industry.
The study was conducted by ndp analytics, a strategic economic and communication research firm, in March 2022, and assessed current activities in the US commercial baking industry relating to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). The results from this survey can help employers gain a greater understanding of current DEI strategies in the industry in addition to company initiatives, workforce demographics and more.
These findings were presented at ABA’s NextGenBaker Leadership Forum in Alexandria, VA on April 28 in a Roundtable. The presentation featured Mary Donavan, senior economist of ndp analytics and members of the ABA DE&I Working Group.
“The Working Group commissioned this study to support ABA Members as they continue on their DE&I journeys,” said Christina Donnelly, director of industry relations at ABA. “Our goal is to offer resources and thought leadership on diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace that will benefit the industry.”
