WASHINGTON, DC — In efforts to deliver impact on its recently outlined strategic plan, the American Bakers Association (ABA) has announced the addition of four members to its professional team.

“Bringing on exceptional talent is critical to advancing our bold vision for the future of ABA,” said Eric Dell, president and CEO of ABA. “As we focus on transforming the baking industry into a destination workplace, driving category growth and delivering higher-level impact, these new team members will play a pivotal role in helping us bring our strategic priorities to life. We are committed to creating meaningful, innovative experiences for our members that amplify their success and shape the commercial baking industry’s future.”

The new hires include Anne Fairfield-Sonn, director of marketing and communications; Dorian Peele, assistant of events and operations; Alta Riggs, director of finance; and Danielle Tex, coordinator of events and programming.

In tandem with these additions, the association established core values to reflect the principles that guide ABA and support the success of its members:

Last month, ABA announced the creation of the Congressional Baking Caucus, a bipartisan organization committed to addressing the critical issues facing the American commercial baking industry.
