CPM Wolverine Proctor unites with Planet Dryers

LEXINGTON, NC — CPM Wolverine Proctor, a global supplier to the food, fiber, tobacco and chemical industries, has announced the acquisition of Planet Dryers. The company will join Wolverine Proctor and TSA Griddle Systems as a part of the CPM Thermal Group.

Planet Dryers is a manufacturer of dryers, coolers and related equipment for the snack food and ready-to-eat breakfast categories. It’s best known for its triple-pass dryer, a machine that has helped set the standard for the growing snack market.

“We are thrilled about this exciting partnership and the opportunity to expand both companies’ customer base, global reach and product offerings,” said Kevin Van Allen, director of sales and marketing with CPM Thermal Group. “Like CPM, Planet Dryers is renowned for its high-quality products and service, and together we know we can achieve even more.”

Ian Carter, managing director of Planet Dryers, said the team is excited to join forces with CPM and further the group’s global growth.

The will remain as the acquisition is completed.
