PARSIPPANY, NJ — Two recognizable bakery brands — Mother’s Cookies and Magnolia Bakery — are joining forces to create a specialty sweet for National Strawberry Month.
Throughout May, select Magnolia Bakery storefronts will debut a first-of-its-kind Banana Pudding Bar collab: Mother’s Cookies Strawberry Banana Pudding.
“Strawberry is undeniably the flavor of summer, and its timelessness brings kids and adults alike to the table,” said Julia Witten, senior brand manager at Ferrero. “Magnolia Bakery has spent decades building one of the most devoted fan bases in dessert, turning its iconic banana pudding into a cultural phenomenon that has people lining up around blocks.”
The sweet treat features layers of Mother’s Cookies’ new Sparkling Strawberry Mythical Creatures Cookies, which rolled out this spring as the brand’s first-ever strawberry flavor.
The Mother’s Cookies Strawberry Banana Pudding is available at participating Magnolia Bakery shops in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles through May 24.
“Partnering [Magnolia Bakery’s] legendary status with Mother’s Cookies, as we enter an exciting new era of innovation, is the kind of collaboration that transforms a sweet treat moment into a memory worth savoring,” Witten said.
