ST. LOUIS — The North American division of AB Mauri announced the promotion of Michael Purvis to VP of sales.

“Since joining our team nearly a decade ago, Mike has played a crucial role in leading our sales unit,” said Fred Elias, senior VP of sales for AB Mauri.

Purvis has worked at the ingredients company since 2016, starting as a Midwest district sales manager. Over the years, the food industry vet moved up the ranks, most recently serving as director of sales. Throughout his tenure, Purvis’ contributions have strengthened the company’s position in the commercial, retail and QSR sectors of the baking industry.

“His experience, energy and market understanding make him an excellent fit for this key position,” Elias said.
