VANCOUVER, BC — Better-for-you snacking company Trubar Inc. is hitting a growth spurt. The plant-based protein bar brand announced the continued retail expansion of its signature product, TRUBAR, in Canada, with launches in various chain stores.

This expansion marks the brand’s distribution in more than 3,750 retail doors across The Great White North, including 71 Costco locations across Eastern Canada; 242 Pattison Food Group stores operating under the retail banners Save-on-Foods, Urban Fare and Buy Low Foods; and 37 Healthy Planet stores, Ontario’s leading health and wellness retailer.

“These recent launches build on our growing momentum in Canada, where we have a strong mix of regional and national retailer partners from coast to coast,” said Erica Groussman, co-founder and CEO of Trubar. “I’m very pleased with the progress we have made ramping up our North American distribution footprint over the last several months.”

The inclusion of the three stores enhances Trubar’s retail footprint across Canada and joins its network of distribution chains, which includes Walmart, Sobeys, Safeway, Fresh Street Market, Whole Foods, 7-Eleven and more.

“With the additional resources and investment dedicated to the Canadian market, we are well-positioned to accelerate this growth and deepen our presence across the country,” Groussman said.
