PLANO, TX and PUNE, INDIA — Middleby Bakery announced two additions to its sales team: Chris Janarek as account sales manager for Auto-Bake Serpentine and Vikrant Sawant as area sales manager for India.

Janarek, who previously worked for Auto-Bake Americas from 2010-2014, rejoins the company from Zeppelin Systems and WAM Inc. As account sales manager, he will oversee a mix of new and existing US customer accounts.

As area sales manager for India, Sawant will cover business development and sales efforts for the company with a focus on biscuits, cookies, crackers and sweet goods brands. With over 17 years of sales and marketing experience and a track record of impacting business growth in the area for bakery and confectionary clients, he will also grow Middleby’s presence and strengthen relationships with key members of the industry.
