NEW YORK — Met-Rx, a leading meal replacement bar company, announced the expansion of its BIG 100 product line. The newest additions introduce the first BIG 100 granola bars and two new flavors to the existing lineup.

Met-Rx’s newest flavor innovations add variety to its flavor profile without sacrificing taste and nutrition. The granola bars are offered in two flavors, Chocolate Chip and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip. The newest BIG 100 protein bar flavors include Blueberry Cobbler and Mint Super Cookie Crunch.

“Met-Rx is committed to delivering innovative and delicious options for our consumers, and we are thrilled to introduce two new flavors,” said Amie Testerman, VP of marketing at Met-Rx parent 1440 Foods. “These new flavors offer a unique twist on our beloved bars, packed with essential nutrients and our exclusive metamyosyn protein to keep our consumers fueled and satisfied.”

The Blueberry Cobbler flavor offers 18 essential vitamins and minerals, while the Mint Super Cookie Crunch offers 19. Both flavors provide 30 grams of metamyosyn protein per bar. The granola bars are made with pumpkin seeds, flaxseeds and sunflower seeds and offer 5 grams of fiber per bar.

“Additionally, the launch of our BIG 100 Granola Bars fills a crucial gap in the market, providing a nutritious and convenient option perfect for the morning,” Testerman added. “Unlike traditional granola bars, our bars pack 28 grams of protein, offering the nutrition essential to stay energized throughout the day.”

The new offerings will be sold exclusively on the Met-Rx website and at Walmart starting later this month.
