COLLEGEDALE, TN — With Punxsutawney Phil predicting an early spring, brands have begun rolling out their spring product lineups.
Little Debbie, under the McKee Foods umbrella, is extending its seasonal portfolio to include two additions: Spring Mini Donuts and Spring Mini Muffins – Lemon.
“At McKee Foods, we believe every bite should be a moment of enjoyment, and these new additions perfectly embody that philosophy,” said Snigdha Sewlikar, product development manager for McKee Foods.
The classic cake donuts are covered in yellow icing and topped with pink and blue sugar crystals.
Bringing in notes of citrus, the Mini Muffins – Lemon captures a tangy and sweet taste in each bite.
These two varieties will join Little Debbie’s Spring items including, Big Pack Spring Party Cakes, Blooming Spring Brownies, Butterfly Cakes and Mother’s Day cakes.
“Our goal was to capture the freshness and liveliness of spring,” said Janice Cornett, designer and creative services specialist for McKee Foods. “Incorporating vibrant colors, cheerful touches of sunshine, and flowers, we aimed to reflect the brightness associated with the season. These elements not only enhance the visual appeal but also make the product photography stand out, providing shoppers with an enticing preview of the product right in the grocery aisle.”
The new products will be available nationwide beginning in late March.
