CHARLOTTE, NC — Krispy Kreme has appointed Jeremiah Ashukian as executive VP and CFO, effective Jan. 9, 2023.
“On behalf of the board of directors, I am excited to welcome Jeremiah to the Krispy Kreme family,” said Mike Tattersfield, president and CEO of Krispy Kreme. “We are confident that his strong financial background and deep global experience in the consumer sector will help drive our strategic plans and deliver long-term value for shareholders.”
He will succeed Josh Charlesworth, who has served as CFO since April 2017. Charlesworth will continue his role as global president and COO.
“I also want to thank Josh for his many invaluable contributions as CFO over the past 5 years,” Tattersfield continued. “Our organization will continue to benefit from Josh’s leadership and insights in his global president and COO roles, and I look forward to continuing to advance our strategy together.”
With 20 years of global executive finance experience from Mars. Inc., Ashukian is bringing skills that will allow him to execute the position to his full potential. Most recently he served as the chief financial officer of Mars Wrigley North America.

Throughout his finance career, Ashukian has held multiple CFO roles in North America and Latin America at Mars, Inc. He has held a range of positions including finance director, demand and planning, manufacturing finance and business planning as well as oversight to logistics and supply chain. Additionally, he also led M&A efforts such as Mars’ acquisition of Kind.
Ashukian received a BA in mathematics from Wilfrid Laurier University as well as a CMA certification and CPA license.
