EAST HANOVER, NJ — In anticipation of the upcoming holiday season, Oreo announced its new limited-edition flavor Snickerdoodle.
The festive sandwich cookie gives a traditional flavor new life, featuring a snickerdoodle wafer and cinnamon flavored crème dotted with green and red sugar crystals.
Although the brand officially launched the festive flavor this morning, eagle-eyed fans might have been able to pick up on the flavor drop ahead of the announcement online. Through a series of eight tweets, the cookie brand teased the announcement in the first word of each post to reveal the message “Our next Oreo cookie flavor is Snickerdoodle.”
Set to hit shelves Oct. 17, Oreo Snickerdoodle cookies will be available at retailers nationwide while supplies last.
